On August 5th, two incredible young boys—Jack and his brother Kit—walked into our office with an envelope containing $100. Their grandmother brought them in and shared the sweetest story behind that donation. Jack had heard about Assistance League Tulsa’s efforts to help children with school clothes and wanted to contribute. So, what did he do? He baked a slew of cupcakes, decorated them (his favorite was the dazzling blue galactic), and set up a festive stand with Kit to give them away in exchange for donations. The result? $100 raised through pure heart and creativity.
While Kit was a wonderful helper, it was clear this was Jack’s mission—and he’s already dreaming up his next fundraiser for fall. Hot chocolate, anyone?
If everyone had the loving, caring spirit of these two boys, the world would be a much brighter place.
Let’s celebrate Jack and Kit’s kindness—and let it inspire us all to give a little more, love a little louder, and help however we can.
